From Filmmaking to Democratizing the Big Screen

Born and raised in New Delhi, Mohit Dhawan built his career across the creative and logistical pillars of the Indian entertainment industry. Through Logixila, he has overseen line production, casting, budgeting, and on-ground execution for numerous film banners and commercial music videos across India, alongside creative direction and production credits documented on IMDb (nm5241244).

Witnessing firsthand how independent and mainstream films struggle to reach non-metro audiences due to the lack of cinema halls in tier-2, tier-3, and rural India, Dhawan founded LokCinema (operated under Gemdust Solutions LLP). Starting with grassroots public theatrical screenings in Bihar, LokCinema is building a scalable, community-driven cinema exhibition network designed to bring affordable big-screen experiences to every corner of India.
